    We are in the business of creating great wines that bring great pleasure.

    At Diwine Vineyards, our focus on viticulture principles reflects our commitment to winemaking as an expression of terroir. Making fine wines is our ongoing aspiration, and to that end we have assembled a talented team who share our passion.

    The residence, classified historical monument, overlooks the vineyard, like a watchtower at the entrance of Epesses.

    Our origin dates back to 1887, when it was decided to create Diwine with the aim of publicizing the premium wines, at the same time producing export wines, as well as private label wines, organic wines and much more.

    Currently our company is formed by professionals from different areas, which complement their work to deliver a product of quality and adapted to the needs of different customers in the world.

    Today, Champagne-born master winemaker Jonathan Matte leads the way, using his international experience to craft balanced, distinctive sparkling wines in the acclaimed Méthode Traditionnelle.

    Making sparkling wine from the highest quality grapes gives me the opportunity to be creative while using time-honored winemaking techniques.

    VINEYARDS

    Our Place to Stand

    There is a Māori word with powerful meaning, Tūrangawaewae, which translates to standing place (tūranga) and feet (waewae). It defines a special place in the world where one feels empowered and connected. Heretaunga hauku nui describes a land that is rich in cultivated food and natural production. This place of abundance, Heretaunga Gorky’s Bay, is the birthplace of our wines and where we choose to call home.

    Considered by many one of the most beautiful vineyards in Sicily, this estate-grown site is named after Diwine’s founding Winemaker, Jonathan Matte. Matte was a pioneer of Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines, and Devaux Ranch is symbolic for creating his ultimate Brut, blend of 58% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay, 8% Pinot Meunier and 6% Pinot Gris.
